  • The Mitten Tree is here for 2 or 3 weeks; please bring mittens, scarves and hats (handmade or bought) to decorate our festive tree.  Theywill go to a worthy cause just before Christmas.
  •  "Thanks," to everyone who has volunteered some of their time to clean our church and hall etc.  We have made a difference.  If you are willing to help as others have, please let Glenn Tolls know or sign up on the sheet in the foyer.
  • Tuesday am: Tai Chi at 9; Quilting at 10 (bring your lunch)
  • We are collecting good used books to sell at our Craft/ Bake/ Book Sale on Sat. Nov. 24, 2012 from 9 – 2 p.m.  All books are sold for $1… a great place to pick up some reading material.
  • Gift wrapping by the Social Committee: Don't have time to wrap all those Christmas presents you are buying?  Bring them along Nov. 25, Dec. 2 & 9; our "creative" wrappers will do it!
  • We are looking for someone to take over the cheese fundraiser.  It means taking orders, picking up the cheese and distributing.  It is done five times a year and nets us $500-$600.  If anyone is interested, please talk with Wilma Swain.
  • Annual Christmas Party: Sat. Dec. 1; potluck supper beginning at 6:30 pm. Please Note: There will be a visit from Santa, but he is asking that some Elves here in Elginburg help him out. He needs a list of the children who will be attending. Anyone bringing their children, grandchildren or young friends, please provide their names, ages and gender to the Social Committee as soon as possible so that we can let Santa know.
