  • Tuesday am: Tai Chi at 9; Quilting at 10 (bring your lunch)
  • Trinity Youth Christmas Campaign in support of the U. C. "Gifts with Vision": If you would like a tax receipt, be sure your name (or #) is included with your donation.  The children will choose the gifts according to the money received.  Thanks!
  • Jan. 26, 6 pm:  Catered dinner by Ramekins - Guest speaker: Professor Marguerite Van Die; music by the Limestone City Voices.  Tickets $25 each; under 12 years - $7.  See Wilma Swain for tickets.

 

Dec. 9, 2012

§  UCW Christmas Party, Tues. Dec. 11 at 7 pm in the church hall.  Please bring a wrapped re-gift (or gift under $10) for the exchange and $5 for lunch.

  • The Christmas Food Hamper Draw is available in the church. Please return these items by Dec 16, for the White Gift Service.
     Monetary donations for White Gift will be used to purchase fresh food items for the local Christmas Hampers.  Envelopes will be available in the pews. Please remember the Food Bank, perhaps buy double for the hampers and give 1/2 to the Food Bank. Thank you for your generosity.  You will be blessed.
  • We are looking for someone to take over the cheese fundraiser.  It means taking orders, picking up the cheese and distributing.  It is done five times a year and nets us $500-$600.  If anyone is interested, please talk with Wilma Swain.

  • Gift wrapping by the Social Committee: Don't have time to wrap all those Christmas presents you are buying?  Bring them along Nov. 25, Dec. 2 & 9; our "creative" wrappers will do it!

  • The Mitten Tree is here! Please bring mittens, scarves and hats to decorate it. They'll go to a worthy cause before Christmas. 
  •  "Thanks," to everyone who has volunteered some of their time to clean our church and hall etc.  We have made a difference.  If you are willing to help as others have, please let Glenn Tolls know or sign up on the sheet in the foyer.

Anyone bringing their children, grandchildren or young friends, please provide their names, ages and gender to the Social Committee as soon as possible so Santa can be prepared

  • Stewards meet Mon. Nov. 19 at 7 pm in the Friendship Room.

  • The Mitten Tree is here for 2 or 3 weeks; please bring mittens, scarves and hats (handmade or bought) to decorate our festive tree.  Theywill go to a worthy cause just before Christmas.
